My idea for this set started with these trees. In your purchased pattern set, you will see how I simply patch and stitch on these large cone shape trees. All of the graphics that you see here are included in the instant download set of pages.

Just look ! The same pattern can make trees or cone pouches ! This was a quick discovery as , after I sewed up the trees and turned them out, It made me think of making these cone pouches. I’ve seen some great creators make some similar to these, such as Princess Green Eye. Wonderful !
The cone shape templates included in the pattern are 18’’, 12’’ and 8’’. But, of course, you can trim to any size.
CREATE
Cut the simple shapes with any fabrics you choose and create a sweet appliqué.
My thoughts on aging cloth, stitching and more are included as well.

You can tell, I didn’t go all out on this pennant banner, heck I was in a hurry to get this all ready to offer ! but it’s still fun and festive ! I like quick and simple projects, but this idea could be made nicer with the pattern with your creative talent.
